ARINC provides transport communications and systems engineering solutions across eight industries, including aviation, defense, and healthcare, with over 3,200 employees and $919M in revenue across 120+ global locations.
I started as an associate civil engineer, collaborating with SMES to deploy custom analytical perimeter security surveillance systems for government facilities, including airports and nuclear power plants. I transitioned to being a technical writer and instructor, writing all the pertinent documentation for each site's implementation before travelling to the field or site to conduct training. Documentation included everything from Factory Acceptance Tests, Request for Proposals, and Manuals to Computer-Based Training Modules and Service Brochures.
